“We are such fans of Alice and Ames! I got my daughter her first dress at size 2T, and now we’re almost sizing out. I’d recommend asking for length on dresses – if they’ve been dried they shrink an inch or two. Also, random releases would be sized a little off (like one spring collection was almost a size small across the board) so when I bought used, i always sized up. The rompers are usually about a size small as well, so size up from your normal dress size for those. As a seller, you get the equivalent of $5 in rewards points on their site for each sale over $20, so I’ve been able to get so many new pieces with the rewards points from Kidizen sales. Alice and Ames has been our school photo go-to for the last five years since the prints and the colors are so good. My daughter doesn’t wear dresses regularly anymore, but when she does, it’s still Alice and Ames. Also, they have new owners now and I haven’t loved their prints for a little while. Sizing Notes:

Alice + Ames seems to run a little small (although pinafore dresses run a little large) and is a brand you will most likely want to size up in.Some people feel like the ballet dresses run true to size and some feel like some run slightly small. Leotards and rompers, it is recommended to size up 1 full size. We have included Alice + Ames size charts for reference.
