Shop Spotlight: Meet Kim from Pia’s Palace

Tell us a little about you and your family.

My name is Kim and I’m currently a SAHM of two (Pia & Eric)! Married 11 years to my husband who I grew up and attended  high school with! We never dated back then but reconnected 10 yrs later and the rest is history! We currently own and run a furniture consignment business here in Lancaster, PA!  We are an active family and love being outdoors and staying busy!

Did you have challenges getting started selling?

My biggest challenge getting started was my confidence in reselling! As silly as that may sound , I was coming into a world I knew nothing about and wanted to make sure I didn’t make any mistakes! Luckily for me though the Kidizen community is really unlike any other resale community that I’ve found! I had  some amazing moms reach out who had been in the biz before me and give me helpful tips and tricks that made things so much easier to navigate the sales side of things!

What advice do you have for someone looking to start their own Kidizen shop?

My best advice would be to reach out to sellers who have made a few hundred sales and ask for their favorite reselling tips! Just send a message! There are so many helpful sellers on this platform that would absolutely love to help you learn! What better way to learn than from successful sellers!

What can shoppers expect to find in your shop?

My shop is a little bit of everything! I have girls & boys clothes ranging from newborn to youth! I also have started selling mama clothing! There is really something for everyone in our shop!!

Thank you to Kim for sharing a bit about herself and her family with us. You can find Kim on Kidizen at Pia’s Palace and on Instagram @kimberlypsu84
