Scout Spotlight: Meet Janet from My Little Remi Kids + DC Metro Kids

Tell us a little about you and your family.

I’m a mom of 4, wife to Seth, SAHM, enneagram 8, and Kidizen Style Scout. If I’m not on here listing for my clients and my kids outgrown clothing, more often than not, I’m on a field of some kind. My husband coaches, I shuttle the kids and spend most of my weekends putting miles on the car cheering them on. All while trying to find a way to be in three places at once.

What do you enjoy most about being a Style Scout? What is the most challenging part?

I love the opportunity to list a variety of things and how each of my clients have their own style for their kiddos. Currently, my biggest challenge is staying on top of them all! They are all equally wonderful, but with life as full as it is, sometimes I have a hard time keeping up.

Give a glimpse into the clients you work with – why did they choose to consign through the Style Scout program?

Most of them are busy like me! They want someone else to do the work and get what they’ve outgrown out of their house. It makes their life easy and it gives me the opportunity to do what I love. So it’s a win win!

What can shoppers expect to find in your shop?

Personally, we love basics and unique prints and I’ve been fortunate to have clients who feel the same. Some of my current favs: little road co, Rylee + Cru, Quincy Mae, L’ovedbaby, Zara, Boden, Hanna Andersson, H&M, childhoods, and Gus + Steel.

Thank you to Janet for sharing a bit about herself and her family with us. You can find Janet on Kidizen at My Little Remi Kids + DC Metro Kids and on Instagram @mrsremi
