Tell us a little about you and your family.

My name is Melissa and I am married to James. We have 2 girls – Aubrey (8) and Chloe (5). We live in Scottsdale, AZ. I work full-time as an engineer and am the Style Scout for the Phoenix area. Both our girls play soccer and I even coach Chloe’s team!

Give a glimpse into the clients you work with. Why did they choose to consign through the Style Scout program?

I have some amazing clients! Most of them have been clearing out closets and don’t have time to sell on their own. When I come to pick up their items, they are so excited to get some space back! They trust me with their treasures to pass along to other families to love, and that really is the best part!

What inspired you to want to become a Style Scout?

When I started selling my own girls’ clothes, it was so fun that I could buy something, have them wear it, and then sell it to fund things for the next season. I loved to thrift and pass along those deals! Then I discovered Kidizen and heard about the Style Scout program. I made a goal to become a Style Scout so that I could become a larger part of the Kidizen community!

What can shoppers expect to find in your shop?

Shoppers can expect to find a variety of sizes, brands, and styles for both girls and boys at A&C Mama + Phoenix Kids. A few of my clients love European brands, so there is A LOT of that. My girls mostly wear Mini Boden and Hanna Andersson, so you will always see those brands in my shop!
